4Help is a student-staffed help desk that provides computer support for the faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Virginia Tech. 4Help provides expertise in problems with computer software, specifically network settings, viruses, adware, and Virginia Tech online services. 4Help services are primarily rendered over the telephone and via electronic mail.
During Spring semester University Computing Support hires Get Connected teams to work in the residence halls during fall move-in to assist students with setting up their computers on the campus network and protecting student computers from viruses and vulnerabilities.
